Light Bar is Red
If the light bar on your speaker is glowing red continuously, it has encountered an error with the setup or connection. Here are some troubleshooting tips you can do to resolve this:
Reset your product
- Power off the soundbar.
- Disconnect the power cord from the soundbar or power outlet.
- If an accessory bass module or surround speakers are connected, disconnect the power cords for them also.
Tip: If accessory surround speakers are connected, disconnect power from both surround speaker receivers. - After 30 seconds, reconnect power to the soundbar.
- Wait about 30 seconds for the soundbar to reboot.
- If you disconnected power cords from an accessory bass module or surround speakers in step 3, reconnect them.
Put the soundbar in recovery mode
- Disconnect the speaker from power and wait 30 seconds
- Reconnect the speaker to power
- When the light bar illuminates, follow the steps below within ten seconds:
Tip: Do not rapidly alternate button presses. Wait one second between presses- On the speaker, tap the Action button once
- Tap the Microphone Off button once
- Tap the Action button a second time
- Tap the Microphone Off button a second time.
Update your soundbar
- It should automatically update overnight when not in use
- For manual updates, On the remote control, simultaneously press and hold the Volume + and Music buttons for 10 seconds:
- If an update is available, a white light will scroll across the light bar while it is updating. Once complete, the soundbar will reboot
- If no update is available, the product will reboot without any scrolling light bar activity
